Thursday Night Football

Raiders (-6) vs. Rams

Thursday, Dec. 8 | 8:15 p.m. ET

This game looked good on paper to begin the season, but both teams have not had the success that they hoped to have preseason. The Raiders are at least showing fight, having won three straight.

The Rams played the Seahawks tough last week, but they are so banged up that it is hard to see them continuing to put up that kind of effort.

Raiders vs. Rams Pick: Raiders -6 | -107 at PointsBet

Early Sunday NFL Slate

Jets vs. Bills (-9.5)

Sunday, Dec. 11 | 1 p.m. ET

Who would have thought this would actually be an important game in mid-December? The Bills lead the division at 9-3, but the Jets aren’t far behind at 7-5 with a win against Buffalo already in the books.

The Bills are at home now, but the Jets offense actually has some signs of life without Zach Wilson playing QB for them. 10 points is just too rich for a game between division rivals in December.

Jets vs. Bills Pick: Jets +9.5 | -107 at PointsBet

Browns vs. Bengals (-6)

Sunday, Dec. 11 | 1 p.m. ET

These two teams last played on Halloween, with the Browns beating the snot out of the Bengals 32-13. The Bengals have won four straight since that loss, including back-to-back extremely impressive wins against the Titans and Chiefs.

Browns QB Deshaun Watson looked absolutely dreadful in his first start back from suspension, while the Bengals are hot. Somehow, Joe Burrow has yet to beat the Bengals in his career, but that ends on Sunday.

Browns vs. Bengals Pick: Bengals -6 | -107 at PointsBet

Texans vs. Cowboys (-16.5)

Sunday, Dec. 11 | 1 p.m. ET

16.5 points is a lot, but I don’t care. The Cowboys are still playing for the possible top seed in the playoffs, while the Texans gave up on the season before it even started.

Texans vs. Cowboys Pick: Cowboys -16.5 | -110 at DraftKings

Vikings vs. Lions (-1.5)

Sunday, Dec. 11 | 1 p.m. ET

It is remarkable that the 5-7 Lions are favored against a 10-2 Vikings team, but here we are. The funny thing is, that is the correct line, too.

The Vikings can’t keep lucking out these one-score games, while the Lions are hot, winners of four of five, with their only loss coming on a last second field goal to the Bills.

Vikings vs. Lions Pick: Lions -1.5 | -106 at FanDuel

Eagles (-7) vs. Giants

Sunday, Dec. 11 | 1 p.m. ET

The Eagles have put up back-to-back dominating offensive performances, with the scary part being it was in two completely different ways. Two weeks ago they ran all over the Packers for over 300 yards rushing, while last week they passed for 380 yards on the Titans.

The Giants are cratering, and really needed to get that win against the Commanders last week, but instead tied. The Eagles stay hot in this one.

Eagles vs. Giants Pick: Eagles -6.5 | -120 at FanDuel

Ravens vs. Steelers (-3)

Sunday, Dec. 11 | 1 p.m. ET

Without Lamar Jackson playing for Baltimore, the Steelers – who are winners of two straight – are actually the favorites over the Ravens. I understand the sentiment, especially with the Ravens struggling the past two weeks. However, the Steelers beating the Colts and Falcons in the past two weeks isn’t the most impressive feat in the world.

This game should end within a field goal, so I will take the points with the Ravens.

Ravens vs. Steelers Pick: Ravens +3 | -107 at PointsBet

Jaguars vs. Titans (-4)

Sunday, Dec. 11 | 1 p.m. ET

What a weird two weeks for the Jaguars. Two weeks ago they had an impressive comeback victory against the Ravens, when QB Trevor Lawrence had his best game of his career. Then last week, Jacksonville laid a complete egg against the Lions.

The Titans have lost two straight to the Bengals and Eagles, who are two of the best teams in the NFL. Tennessee should be able to bounce back against a Jaguars team that we don’t know what we are getting from on a weekly basis.

Jaguars vs. Titans Pick: Titans -3.5 | -110 at Caesars

Late Afternoon Sunday Slate

Chiefs (-9) vs. Broncos

Sunday, Dec. 11 | 4:05 p.m. ET

This game was supposed to be a good matchup before the season started, but the Broncos, and specifically Russell Wilson, have not held up their end of the bargain. He has been truly dreadful, and one of the worst QBs in the NFL.

With that said, the Broncos defense has been phenomenal all year. I have no doubt the Chiefs win here, but the Broncos defense will make it more difficult than expected.

Chiefs vs. Broncos Pick: Broncos +9.5 | -110 at BetMGM

Buccaneers vs. 49ers (-4)

Sunday, Dec. 11 | 4:25 p.m. ET

You know the Bucs season has fallen far when they are underdogs against a 49ers team that has now lost their first and second-string QBs to season-ending injuries.

It really is devastating for Jimmy G and the 49ers, who now have to rely on a seventh round rookie in Brock Purdy to lead a team with legitimate Super Bowl aspirations.

The Bucs are coming off a wild fourth-quarter comeback against the Saints on Monday Night Football, but played horrifically for the first 55 minutes of that game. With that said, it is hard to put my faith in Purdy in his first career start.

Buccaneers vs. 49ers Pick: Buccaneers +4 | -107 at PointsBet

Panthers vs. Seahawks (-4.5)

Sunday, Dec. 11 | 4:25 p.m. ET

Despite winning last week, the Seahawks needed a last second touchdown to comeback and beat the Rams who were missing Matthew Stafford, Aaron Donald, and Cooper Kupp.

With that said, they are still a good team, who are playing at home against a bad Panthers team. They should be able to take care of business.

Panthers vs. Seahawks Pick: Seahawks -3.5 | -110 at BetMGM

Sunday Night Football

Dolphins (-3) vs. Chargers

Sunday, Dec. 11 | 8:20 p.m. ET

The Chargers’ season is pretty much toast at this point, after losing to the Raiders last week. They have had a horribly injury-riddled season, which seems to happen to the Chargers almost every year.

The Dolphins lost to the 49ers last week, but have a welcome matchup this weekend against an awful Chargers defense. I can see this game having blowout potential in which the Dolphins could easily score 30+ points.

Dolphins vs. Chargers Pick: Dolphins -3 | -110 at PointsBet

Monday Night Football

Patriots (-1) vs. Cardinals

Monday, Dec. 12 | 8:15 p.m. ET

Unfortunately, this will incredibly boring Monday night game featuring two teams that have a negative point differential and are not above .500.

Give me the points with the Patriots, as the Cardinals are fully in cratering mode.

Patriots vs. Cardinals Pick: Patriots -1 | -110 at Caesars
