Texas Southern vs. Fairleigh Dickinson Pick: First Half Over 67.5 | -110 at Caesars

We’re at Caesars here since they are way under what everyone else is throwing out. The sharpest sportsbook in the world, Pinnacle, has over 68.5 priced at -111. We’re beating them by a point here. On top of that, I had a 44% price boost at Caesars so there’s that too. I could only bet $44 on it but it pays $101.60. It’s tough to beat that. Don’t worry if you don’t have a price boost though, as you’re getting very close to the Pinnacle no-vig fair odds without one (-114).

Today could be the greatest day of our lives. A lot of people think it could be tomorrow and that will be awesome too but tonight is pretty sweet. We’ve got two NCAA tournament games and when we wake up tomorrow, we’ll be closing in on noon and close to a million games.

Not sure if it makes today the greatest day of all time but it’s close. All I do know is, we’ll be knee-deep in action beginning at 6:40 p.m. ET tonight because we’re getting loose for the Texas Southern against Fairleigh Dickinson matchup.

Have I ever seen either one of these teams play? No. In fact, I had forgotten Fairleigh Dickinson was even an accredited university. None of that matters though because we obviously have an advantage because of the number and price we’re getting. On top of that, both of these two teams have a top 91 pace when they have the ball. Up and down, up and down. What’s better is, Fairleigh Dickinson can shoot the ball from three (eight per game). That helps.

What I like best is the fact that both of these teams have fist-fight offenses. If you’ve ever been in a fist fight, or seen one, you’ll notice that both people usually go all-out early. It’s not until later in the fight (if it doesn’t get broken up) that both participants settle in and start to use some sort of strategy.

Fairleigh Dickinson is a top 100 offense in the country in terms of first half scoring so they are the ones I expect to drive this one. We’ve seen them drop 40-burgers in the first half multiple times this season as well as give up big first halves. This is the perfect way to start the night. Feels right.
