Nuggets vs. Raptors Pick: Fred VanVleet Double-Double |+220 at DraftKings

We’re going to DraftKings for this banger since they’ve got a number that makes no sense. While FanDuel is down at +150 for this thing, the others are hovering around +200 with DraftKings being the highest at +220.

It’s a weird move for a company that’s trying to make money. You’d think they’d do a little better as they have shareholders to answer to but whatever. That’s not for us to worry about. What we need to worry about is Fred VanVleet and all the cash he’s about to stuff into our pockets. That’s what’s important.

Here’s the thing about our guy Fred VanVleet. He owes us money. We took his double-double at +300 or so not long ago and he came up one assist short. That wasn’t his fault. The guy tried as hard as he could and his teammates let him down (probably).

All I know is the very next game he went out and dropped 10 assists on the Lakers like it was his job (it actually is his job). He may not have scored double-digits in points, but he did drop eight so he was right there.

Tonight, Fred and the Raptors return from their West Coast swing and get to host the Denver Nuggets after sleeping in their own beds for a few nights. That’s huge. Not for nothing, Fred just went 21-14 on these guys eight days ago. They’re a middling defense with a pretty high opponent assist-to-field goal ratio.

We love teams like this. Spencer Dinwiddie just went 15-16 on these guys last game. The game before that, Tre Jones went 14-8 on them in just 25 minutes. At the end of the day, this should not be +220. It could end up being the greatest bet of all time because of this price mixup.
