The best bets and resources to make you more profitable
OddsJam’s MLB experts take you through the betting odds, picks, and predictions for tonight’s matchup between the Detroit Tigers and Boston Red Sox in Boston on June 20, 2022.
7:10 p.m. ET
This line is seriously mispriced and needs to be taken advantage of before it moves. Boston has the second best batting average at home in the MLB (.267), the second best batting average against right-handed pitchers (.257) and the fifth most hits at home.
Overall on the season they rank 2nd in hits per game (8.9) and their pitching ranks the 6th best in hits allowed. Opposing pitcher Alex Faedo has just allowed nine hits in three innings in his last start against a much worse Chicago team.
Boston has out-hit opponents in six of their last seven games. Detroit has one of the worst road offenses in the league. They have the least amount of road hits in the league, the lowest road batting average in the league (.199) the third worst batting average against RHP and rank 27th overall in hits per game.
These rankings, data and trends all point to one conclusion today – that Boston out hits Detroit. This might be my favorite play I’ve written up all week and I cannot wait to cash this ticket. Let’s lock it in and win another “Best Bet”.
