Sharp MLB Player Prop Bets for Sunday: Look to the Strikeout Markets, especially in Nationals vs. Phillies

Yankees vs. Cardinals Odds, Player Prop Bets

The first bet I locked in is for the New York Yankees vs. St. Louis Cardinals game today at 2:15pm ET. This game is taking place at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, MO. I found a very profitable bet on the OddsJam Positive EV Betting Tool, so I thought I’d share it with you! I’m on Adam Wainwright (8-8, 3.11 ERA) under 4.5 strikeouts at -122 odds on FanDuel sportsbook.

Wainwright recorded 4 strikeouts in his last outing against the Chicago Cubs. I think that Wainwright will struggle against a talent NY Yankees offense and have a short outing. My prediction is that he’ll pitch 4 innings and give up roughly 4 earned runs.

The value in this Positive EV bet is clear. We’re getting -122 odds on FanDuel for Wainwright under 4.5 strikeouts, and DraftKings sportsbook & Caesars sportsbook both have this -150 and -164 odds, respectively. Ridiculous value on FanDuel. Lock in this awesome prop bet for Sunday!

I have another player prop bet on this game as well. I’m also fading Frankie Montas. I took Montas under 4.5 strikeouts at -140 odds on FanDuel for $70. I think these two prop bets for Yankees vs. Cardinals are very profitable.

Pirates vs. Orioles Player Prop Picks, Sharp Bets

The Pirates strikeout a lot. The Pirates Strikeout 9.25 times per game on average, which is the third most in the league. I think being able to get this play on Spenser Watkins o3.5 Ks at +100 odds is incredible value.

Nationals vs. Phillies Player Prop Bets, Predictions

1:35PM ET

The next MLB prop bet I have for Sunday is in the Nationals vs. Phillies game. I’m on Aaron Nola under 6.5 strikeouts at -104 odds. This bet is also on FanDuel sportsbook. As seen, FanDuel gave me a max bet size of $52. I guess I’m beating them pretty bad…

The Nationals have a weak offense, but I think they’ll be able to put the ball in play against Aaron Nola. My prediction is that Aaron Nola will have 3-4 strikeouts in this MLB game on Sunday, August 7. I locked it in!

Rays vs. Tigers Betting Odds, Player Prop Picks

1:40PM ET

My fourth and final strikeout prop bet for today is in the Tampa Bay Rays vs Detroit Tigers game at 1:40pm ET. I’m on Drew Rasmussen over 4.5 strikeouts at +118 odds on FanDuel. This is another Positive EV bet with a profit margin of 4.82%.

As seen below on OddsJam, no other sportsbook is giving better than -105 odds – what value!

I locked this MLB prop bet in for the maximum that I could, which was roughly $40.

Angels vs. Mariners Betting Odds, Player Prop Picks

I also locked in Marco Gonzales under 3.5 strikeouts at +108 odds on FanDuel. As usual, it’s another Positive EV baseball play for me.
