First, I took a look at the Boston Red Sox vs. Kansas City Royals game today on Saturday, 8/6/2022. The Boston Red Sox are -146 odds on FanDuel sportsbook, and the Kansas City Royals are +124.

Next player prop pick I really like is in the Nationals vs. Phillies game tonight on August 6. I’m on Patrick Corbin under 4.5 strikeouts. I know… I’m predicting a lot of pitchers to under their strikeout line today, but I think the value is there in all of these MLB props.

I think that Patrick Corbin, who is scheduled to start for the Washington Nationals, will have a weak game against the Phillies. Philadelphia averages 4.64 runs per game, which is the seventh highest in the MLB, and I expect them to put up runs early. I’d also lean to bet the over and YRFI in this MLB matchup, but I don’t have any plays officially locked in.

Patrick Corbin has given up 24 earned runs in his last 5 outings. He’s 4-15 on the 2022 season with a 6.57 ERA. I expect it to be a short outing for Corbin.

Yankees vs. Cardinals Odds, Prop Bets

My next player prop bet is for the Yankees vs. Cardinals game today on August 6. It’s another pitching prop. I’m on Jordan Montgomery under 4.5 strikeouts at -110 odds. Montgomery is now a St. Louis Cardinal, and he’s facing his old teammates on the NY Yankees. I think he’ll struggle on the mound. My prediction is Montgomery will have 1-2 strikeouts in this MLB game tonight.
