We went 3-1 Saturday to be in the money. We were close to an even bigger day but the Rays lost to the Red Sox … again. However, we’ll keep going and aim for a perfect day using OddsJam!

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Cincinnati Reds

Miles Mikolas takes the mound for St. Louis and Cincinnati’s pitcher is TBD. Nonetheless, I do not expect the Reds to get many hits off of Mikolas and I don’t see the Cardinals scoring over 6 runs on the Reds. I like the under on the over/under line here! Oh, it’s also a positive EV play.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Miami Marlins

It doesn’t feel like this needs a lot of analysis. Tony Gonsolin is going against Pablo Lopez. Lopez, while serviceable, just is not the pitcher Gonsolin is. I expect this to be a blood bath in favor of the Dodgers and I plan to bet the spread as such.

San Diego Padres vs. San Francisco Giants

Mike Clevinger can be really good or really bad. Typically, though, he will have a bounce-back performance after a rough outing. In his last game, he allowed 2 home runs … so I think his game today constitutes a bounce-back performance. Fun fact, if Clevinger pitches well then the Padres win at a ridiculous rate. With all that being said, I am taking the Padres moneyline against the Giants.

Chicago Cubs vs. Toronto Blue Jays

6:07 p.m. ET

I’m going to go bold on this one. The Cubs take on the Blue Jays and they are rolling with rookie pitcher Javier Assad. Assad has only pitched four major league innings so far, but he threw 3 Ks and against the Cardinals no less. This will be his first official start and because of this, no one knows how to set his line. His o/u Ks is set at 3.5 and I am going bold with the over.
