Rays vs. Twins Pick: Minnesota Twins Moneyline | -115 at FanDuel

Happy Friday to you all! Today, our best bet will be a play on the showdown between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Minnesota Twins.

The Twins are coming off a solid series against the Yankees where they were able to take one game from them, but the impressive part is they averaged over 6 runs a game against New York’s excellent pitchers.

The Twins will pitch their lefty Devin Smeltzer, who is 2-0 on the year and has a 1.93 ERA. Smeltzer has been consistent and I expect another great showing from him here.

The Rays have been solid this year and are coming off a series against the Cardinals where they swept them. The Rays are pitching Drew Rasmussen, who has a 3.02 ERA.

Rasmussen has been solid this year, but the Twins’ bats will be some of the best he has seen this season. 

I expect the Twins to come out strong here after choking a 4-run lead to the Yankees last night.

With Smeltzer on the mound, they should be able to keep the Rays’ bats quiet and should be able to rock Rasmussen with the way their bats have been.
