Mother nature didn’t want to see us win yesterday, postponing our Best Bet play. We should be clear of any unfortunate events today as we look to continue our hot streak. We have a huge MLB slate today so choosing my favorite play was difficult, but I found us a winner. Let’s dive in.

We’ll be targeting the same game I wrote about yesterday, but with a different play. I still love Gray’s under, but as I kept digging into this game I found a better line we can attack. The Cleveland Guardians are 11-8 at home and have the 10th best batting average at home this season. Texas is 12-12 in away games with the 12th worst batting average on the road. Over the last 5 games, there is a significant difference in scoring between the two teams.
In their last five games, Cleveland is averaging 5 runs per game while Texas is averaging 3 runs per game. Quantrill takes the mound for the Guardians and has been very efficient in the first five innings. He is averaging 2 earned runs per game in the first five innings, while Jon Gray is averaging 2.75 runs per game in the first five innings including three starts of 4+ earned runs in that time.
Cleveland should consistently put the ball in play as they strike out the least in the league against RHP. It’ll all be up to Quantrill today. Let’s cash another ticket!
