In the prime time matchup tonight, the Yankees travel to Baltimore to take on the streaking Orioles. The Orioles have won 11 of their last 13 to get to only 3.5 games back in the wild card race.
The Yankees are looking to break a four-game road losing streak after a tough doubleheader against the Astros. But the Astros and Orioles are certainly not built the same and the Yankees have a chance to confirm that tonight.

Even on opposite trajectories, the Yankees are 17 games ahead of the Orioles in the standings. They’ve earned the best record in baseball and have very few holes in any place, on the field or on the lineup.
Jameson Taillon is not the most consistent pitcher but when he’s dialed in there’s no one better. From a betting angle, this tees up the Yankees well. You prefer the good days but the Yankees are in every game regardless of the score.
We even saw it last night against the Astros, down 5 runs in the ninth inning and the game-tying batter ended the game at the plate. The bullpen is elite as well and should be back to the standard players tonight after a brief changeup last night. Good insurance for if things go poorly.
Tyler Wells is a formidable opponent as well, with an impressive 3.38 ERA and 1.08 WHIP. He’s faced the Yankees 3 times now this season though.
The familiarity tends to start to lean towards the hitters later in the season. The bullpen is solid too but gives up home runs disproportionately which bodes well for the power hitting Yanks.
