FanDuel is offering a 30% profit boost on MLB parlays tonight and damn it, I like that. Now let me tell you people how you use a parlay profit boost. You don’t take a bunch of -130+ moves and throw them together. What we need to be doing is taking a bunch of dinger bets and putting those together. That’s how it’s done. For anyone saying that’s dumb, it’s not and you just hate fun. There’s nothing more fun than taking down a $5 to win $1045 dinger parlay. Especially since it’s boosted. It just feels better.

Since it’s Friday night, the first leg of this thing has to be in one of the games that have the earliest start times. It just makes sense. Lucky for us, we’ve got Brandon Lowe (+478) facing Reese Olson at 6:40 p.m. ET. This leg should be covered by 6:45 p.m. ET. Ideally, Olson will to try Lowe with a four-seamer. If he does, that thing will end up in Canada. Everyone knows that lefties smoke that pitch and Lowe is the one I think will be doing the smoking tonight.

Next, we’re going with Chas McCormick (+576). The only thing stopping this from happening is Mother Nature. But, I don’t think it’s going to rain so there is that. The great Kevin Roth said this morning that he thinks we’re good so I trust him. As non-idiots, we have to target Luis Severino somehow and McCormick looks like the guy to do it with. Obviously, he smashes bad four-seamers and Severino’s is very bad. This just makes sense.

Finally, we’re going with Nolan Arenado (+434) taking on his old team, the Colorado Rockies. Maybe revenge is a thing, maybe it isn’t. But, here’s what I know. I know for a fact that Nolan will crush a bad four-seam fastball. Hell, everyone knows that. The man has a .692 ISO against that pitch from righties over the last 30 days. Conversely, Chris Flexen has one of the worst four-seamers the world has ever seen. We’re talking a 1.200 ISO to righties which doesn’t even seem real. It doesn’t take a genius to see that Arenado should hit a dinger in his first at bat.
