MLB Dinger Prop Bet Parlay: No More Being Poor (Probably)

We’re at FanDuel for this thing because my friends at Wynn were down. It just says “We’ll be back soon” on their site. My guess is, they are doing something awesome for us (the people). I don’t know what the “something awesome” could be, just that it’s something awesome. Still, we need a dinger parlay so I turned to the OddsJam Positive EV page. The first guy we’re locking in is Yordan Alvarez. Before anyone says it, he’s +350 at Wynn but they are down right now. Plus, with the other guys in this parlay, it’s best played at FanDuel. Suck it haters. Here’s the thing, +300 is a steal because this guy should be -300. He’s got Clarke Schmidt tonight and that’s not even fair. The game is at a little league field (Yankee Stadium) so there’s that too. Schmidt likes to try lefties with sweepers and sinkers, both pitches are known to be crushed by Alvarez. We’ve all seen him do it. I’d be shocked if he didn’t hit the first pitch he sees at least a mile. Maybe more.

The next guy is Dansby Swanson who is on a heater of all heaters. Guy has four home runs in his last three games. I almost didn’t take him because at some point he has to stop hitting dingers but he’s facing Luke Weaver tonight. Weaver is a known dinger giver-upper. We’re talking 22 dingers in just 86 innings pitched. That’s tragic. Plus he throws four-seamers and cutters to righties, both of which Swanson could put into orbit. We’d be crazy not to add Dansby to this little dinger party.

Finally, we’re going Cal Raleigh. He’s another guy that is on an absolute heater right now. Dude just hit a bomb last night. Still, he’s a guy we have to include. I know he’s facing Shohei Ohtani tonight but Ohtani kind of gives up dingers. On the season, he’s allowed 18 in 123 innings of work. That’s not terrible but that’s not great either. Lefties have accounted for 11 of those 18 and Raleigh will be batting left-handed tonight. In the last 30 days, Raleigh has feasted on four-seamers and that’s the pitch Ohtani will likely try him with multiple times tonight. This could easily be the greatest parlay we ever bet.
