Happy Tuesday! For the first game on today’s slate, we have the Giants against the Phillies in Philadelphia! 

The Phillies are on a five-game losing streak and will be sending Aaron Nola to the mound. He is coming off his longest outing of the season, pitching eight innings and only allowing one run against the Braves. 

For the Giants, they will go with Carlos Rodon. He has been struggling after a hot start — especially on the road. He has allowed a total of 13 runs and has a 4.67 ERA in his last three away games.

Things won’t get any easier for him today as the Phillies offense can be deadly. I expect Nola to contain the Giants offense and the Phillies to have an offensive explosion.

Mariners vs. Orioles Pick: Mariners F5 Money line | -140 at FanDuel

For the evening slate we have the Mariners and the Orioles facing off in the second game of this series. Tonight’s game features Robbie Ray vs. Kyle Bradish, giving a huge pitching advantage to the Mariners. 

Bradish has not pitched well this season for the O’s (to say the least). He is 0-3 at home with a 6.86 ERA.

He has allowed an alarming 15 runs in his last three starts and that’s not going to age well tonight against a hungry Mariners offense. 

On the other side of the mound, we have Ray — a pitcher who hasn’t lived up to expectations yet this season but will have a favorable matchup. 

The Orioles offense struggles heavily against left-handed pitchers, ranking among the worst in the league. 

In the three games last season that Ray pitched against the O’s he struck out 23 batters.

Look for him to have the same kind of success tonight and his offense to provide him run support to cash the Mariners F5.
