MLB All-Star Game Same-Game Parlay: Yankees and Dodgers Participants Will Record a Hit

We have made it to the 2022 MLB All-Star game! We will not be having any total base plays today so I came up with a little Same Game Parlay for us over on FanDuel!

First Leg: Aaron Judge Over 0.5 Hits | -260 at FanDuel

8:00 p.m. ET

Our first leg will be Aaron Judge to record a hit. In my opinion, he wins the MVP tonight so getting a hit is an automatic pick for this.

Clayton Kershaw is starting the game for the National League and Judge will be the second batter that he faces. Judge has three prior plate appearances against Kershaw and one of them resulted in a home run.

Judge has had a scorching hot first half of the year so look for him to be enjoying his time in the game and have some success along the way.

Second Leg: Trea Turner Over 0.5 Hits | -210 at FanDuel

8:00 p.m. ET

Our second leg of the parlay is on the National League side. We are taking Trea Turner to record the second hit needed for our parlay.

Turner is batting 5th in the order tonight which means he will face the lefty, Shane McClanahan who is not easy to hit off of. Turner is a very solid batter when facing southpaws, with an average of .309 against them.

Given that Turner has an elite ability to get base hits, I have no fear of him facing Shane. Turner will only get one shot at McClanahan and with them never having faced before. I feel confident in Trea’s elite bat to find a gap in the infield.
