Mariners vs. Mets Pick: Mike Ford 1st AB Strikeout | ? at FanDuel
We’re going back to the First AB Strikeout moves and honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever leave this market. I wish I knew it existed earlier but I didn’t. Not my fault. If you’re new to it, here’s how it works. MLB teams release their lineups a few hours before game time. Once they do that, FanDuel and DraftKings open First AB Result Markets. That’s when the magic happens. All we have to do is go find known whiffers and we’re all set.

Honestly, this one wasn’t as easy to find. I didn’t even find it until I was on my third set of mental simulations. That’s pretty crazy. Hats off to the books. They almost got us. But they didn’t so we should keep that in mind. The Seattle Mariners are taking on the New York Mets tonight which means we could see a Mike Ford sighting in the Big Apple. I love Mike Ford. I hope to play with him in an Old Man Softball League at some point. But, if we’re being honest, he’s a likely guy to be a K-victim the first time he goes to the plate tonight.
This isn’t entirely Mike’s fault. The guy is just doing what he can do up there. His job isn’t to make contact and get on base. It’s to distribute baseballs to lucky fans in the outfield seats. The issue is, he’s facing Kodai Senga tonight and Senga isn’t a guy you hit dingers off of.
Usually the power guys never even leave the batter’s box against Senga until it’s time to walk back to the dugout. He’s got that weird ghost pitch. Nobody even knows what it is. How the hell are they supposed to hit it? My guess is Ford sees no more than five pitches in his first at bat before he takes a seat. Might as well not even bring a bat to the plate with him.
