Guardians vs. Rockies Betting Preview
8:40 p.m. ET
Welcome back everybody to today’s first five best bets. We are coming off a sweep yesterday and will be looking to do the same today. Let’s have a great day!
The first game up will be the Guardians vs. the Rockies in Colorado for game two. Today’s pitching matchup leads me to believe it will be a high-scoring affair.
The Guardians are starting Konnor Pilkington and he has a 5.06 ERA on the road. It will be his first time pitching at Coors Field, which is a hitter-friendly park and I expect the Rockies offense to give him a friendly welcome.

Expect him to give up around 3 to 4 runs today.
The Rockies are starting Austin Gomber and he has been struggling a lot this season. He has given up 8 home runs and has an ERA of 6.21 at home.
That’s good news for a Guardians offense that can hit the ball well.
Both teams are going with decent pitchers who get hit a lot so I’m taking the over. Look for both offenses to have a field day and let’s cash the F5 over!
Tonight’s late game features the Angels paying the Dodgers a cross-town visit in Los Angeles. Both offenses are coming into this game in a slump and both are struggling against left-handed pitchers.
The Dodgers will be sending Tyler Anderson to the mound and he is an impressive 7-0 with a 3.07 ERA on the season. He is coming off his worst game of the year, so I expect him to bounce back with a huge game tonight.
He has six games where he has allowed 1 or fewer runs. I expect him to continue his success tonight vs. the Angels offense and not allow them to do any damage.
The Angels will be starting Reid Detmers and he has stepped up big in June, having two games where he hasn’t allowed a single run. The Dodgers offense is also in a slump right now — it’s the perfect time for him to continue his great month of June.
Both teams struggle against left-handed pitchers and both offenses are in a slump so I’m loving the under. Take the F5 under 4.5 and let’s take this to the bank!
