Eight Sharp MLB Bets for Tuesday, Including Mets vs. Braves

The next play I have is a run let bet from OddsJam. I’m on the Philadelphia Phillies -1.5 on the run line against the Cincinnati Reds.

Kyle Gibson (7-5, 4.29 ERA) is taking the mound for Philadelphia, and T.J. Zeuch (0-1, 13.50 ERA) will start for Cincinnati. I think the Phillies will be able to put up early runs against Zeuch, and my prediction is that Philadelphia wins this game 7-3.

My sharp bet is on Caesars sportsbook, and my betslip is below. This is a $1,000 Positive EV play for me. I think that the Phillies -1.5 run line at +100 odds is one of the top MLB betting picks for Tuesday, August 16.

Padres vs. Marlins Odds, Picks, Predictions

6:40 p.m. ET

The next bet I have for Tuesday, August 16 is in the San Diego Padres vs. Miami Marlins game. This game is set to begin at 6:40 p.m. ET at LoanDepot Park in Miami, Florida.

I took the over 8 runs in this game – it’s another Positive EV play from the OddsJam sports betting software. I think the Padres will be able to produce runs against the starting pitcher for Miami, Edward Cabrera. My prediction is that the Padres win this game 5-4.

Astros vs. White Sox Odds, Picks, Predictions

8:10 p.m. ET

I have two plays in the Houston Astros vs. Chicago White Sox game. First, I took the White Sox on the +1.5 run line at -145 odds. My bet is on DraftKings sportsbook. I bet this for $949.58, which is the max wager that DraftKings allowed me to bet.

Next, I hit the NRFI for $75 on FanDuel sportsbook. Justin Verlander (15-3, 1.85 ERA) is taking the mound for the Astros, and Dylan Cease (12-5, 1.96 ERA) is starting for the Chicago White Sox. These starting pitchers have the two lowest ERAs in the league. The value at -128 odds is ridiculous in my opinion. I think this is the top Positive EV NRFI bet for Tuesday.

I’m on the under 8 runs in the Colorado Rockies vs. St. Louis Cardinals game. I think that this game will be a low scoring affair. I hit the under 8 runs at -112 odds on FanDuel sportsbook for $335.90. This was the maximum wager that FanDuel allowed me to bet.

Mariners vs. Angels Odds, Picks, Predictions

9:38 p.m. ET

Finally, I have two sharp bets from OddsJam for the Seattle Mariners vs. Los Angeles Angels game. First, I’m on the Angels 1st half run line. I bet them +0.5 on the 1H RL at +104 odds. This bet is on FanDuel sportsbook, and my betslip is below.
