Cardinals vs. Brewers Pick: Cardinals F5 Moneyline | -118 at BetMGM
8:10 p.m. ET
Welcome back to today’s best bets! We are back after going 2-0 yesterday on our first five inning best bets.
We are targeting the same game as yesterday for today’s first matchup in the Cardinals vs. Brewers showdown. The starting pitchers will be Adam Wainwright and Eric Lauer, with the advantage going to the Cardinals.
Wainwright has been pitching well this season and is coming into tonight’s game with a 5-5 record and 3.06 ERA. In his previous game, he allowed 7 hits and 4 runs so he is due for a bounce-back performance here.

I expect him to contain the Brewers offense and not give up early runs.
The Brewers are sending Lauer to the mound and, if he doesn’t know, the Cardinals love facing left-handed pitchers. They crush lefties and will be looking to run the score up early.
Lauer has a 6-2 record on the year with a 3.57 ERA but has had a few rough couple games. In his last four starts, he has allowed 18 total runs. That’s great news for the Cardinals and they will have plenty of success today.
Take the Cardinals first five moneyline with left-handed Lauer on the mound and let’s cash!
Mariners vs. Athletics Pick: F5 Under 3.5 | +100 at BetMGM
9:40 p.m. ET
Tonight’s late game will be the Mariners facing the A’s for game two of their series. Two solid pitchers on the mound and two cold offenses call for a low-scoring pitching duel tonight.
The Mariners will be starting George Kirby and he has been pitching exceptional on the season with a 1-2 record and 3.56 ERA. The A’s offense has scored 2 or fewer runs in five of their last seven games.
Kirby will bring his A-game as he allowed 4 runs in his first game against them earlier this season. Look for Kirby to bring his best stuff and shut out the A’s offense tonight.
The Athletics are starting their ace Paul Blackburn and he has been their best pitcher this season. He is 6-2 on the year with a 2.26 ERA. In 13 starts this season, he has allowed 1 run or less in eight of those games!
That’s pretty good, the only problem is he doesn’t get any run support. I expect him to continue his excellent pitching and keep this a low-scoring game.
I’m rolling with the first five under 3.5 with two cold offenses. Let’s get another sweep today!
