In this baseball betting preview, I’ll be sharing my best MLB picks and predictions. The game I’m zoning in on is the Milwaukee Brewers vs. Pittsburgh Pirates matchup on Thursday, August 4.

Brandon Woodruff (9-3, 3.55 ERA) is set to take the mound for the Milwaukee Brewers, and Zach Thompson (3-8, 5.09 ERA) is scheduled for the Pittsburgh Pirates. The first pitch is at 12:35pm ET.

Most money has been flowing in on the Brewers early, with 70% of all action coming in on them so far. That’s no shocker in my opinion…

The total is currently set at 8 runs and juiced towards the under. The over 8 runs is at -105 odds, and the under is priced at -115 odds. These odds are via DraftKings sportsbook. Lines can change at any time, though, so make sure to use the OddsJam MLB Odds Screen to get the best odds.
