Spencer Strider…remember his name and burn it into your memory because this young rookie STUD is destined for great things. The young rook started the season as a reliever and then the Braves finally realized the error of their ways and put that man where he rightfully belongs, as a starter. All he’s done since his promotion is strike out just about every living thing that moves, and I can tell you without question that he’s just getting started. 

Spencer has gone over 7.5 strikeouts in three of his last four starts and he’s averaging 8.4 K’s over his last five starts. Strider has hit double digit strikeouts three times already this season in his young career. Earlier this season in a relief appearance against the Phillies he had 5 strikeouts in just a little over two innings! His stuff is just filthy dirty! 

The Phillies on the other hand have shown signs of extreme K vulnerability. Over the last 30 days they have the 4th worst K Rate overall. Also the Phillies absolutely love to strikeout at home. They have the 5th most strikeouts in the league at their home stadium. It’s a good thing those Philly fans are known for their forgiving nature (Sarcasm).

So here we have the planets aligning just right with the rookie beast Spencer Strider facing the whiff happy Phillies in their home park. Over 7.5 strikeouts is more than doable so lets hammer that bad boy and cash this K prop together! Time to put the kiddos to bed and get this money! Bye for now.
