Sunday Night Baseball is here, and we have cooked up a Same Game Parlay for you. The Atlanta Braves are in San Diego taking on the Padres.

This has been a hard fought series with the Braves taking 2 of the 3 games from the Padres, led by back to back 5-2 victories. This is the 4th and final game between these two ball clubs.

Both teams sit at 5-5 on the season. The Braves will start Bryce Elder, a 22 year old rookie making his 2nd career start. He pitched well in his first start on April 12th, going 5.2 IP, allowing 3 ER, striking out 4 batters. He ended with the win against the Nationals.

The Padres will trot out Yu Darvish. Darvish had made 2 starts so far this season. 1 very good, 1 very bad. His Opening Day start came against the Diamondbacks. He went 6 IP with 3 K’s. Best part: He didn’t allow a single hit. His second start….not so much. He went just 1.2 IP, allowing 8 hits, 9 ER against the Giants, their division rival.

I expect both pitches to come out and pitch well. Darvish can’t possibly pitch worse than he did on April 12th, right? If I had to pick this game, I would lean the San Diego Padres ML (-134, FD) but that has no value to it. You know what does have value, a Same Game Parlay.

Let’s cook one up on this fine Easter Sunday!

Our First Leg: Ozzie Albies To Record A Hit

Albies hasn’t been great this series, but what’s most important: he’s had a hit in 6 straight games.

Our Second Leg: Bryce Elder 4+ Strikeouts

Take advantage of the alt strikeout lines on FanDuel. Elder already hit this line in his first start this year. On top of that, the Padres are 25th best in Strikeouts so there should be a lot of opportunities to put them away with K’s.

Our Third Leg: Marcell Ozuna to record an RBI

Yesterday Marcell recorded an RBI via the Homerun, and he’s certainly capable of that today. He bats well against Darvish (.308 batting avg in 15 plate appearances) so he should have a chance to bring home baserunners.

Our 4th leg: Padres Moneyline 1st half Result

We need the Padres to be leading by 1+ runs through 5 innings and I believe they will. Darvish has to pitch well, but the Padres bats are talented enough to erase mistakes and get runs up on a rookie Bryce Elder. Last time we saw Darvish, he was hosting batting practice in San Francisco, so I certainly expect a better outcome today. The Padres are 4th best in the MLB in walks drawn, so if Elder doesn’t have his best stuff today, he could be in trouble early.
