Xander Schauffele is playing about as well as anyone can heading into the last major. Despite a slow start, 11 strokes back of the lead, and a 72 (E) finish on Sunday, Schauffele won his second consecutive start at the Genesis Scottish Open.
This is his 7th win of his career and 3rd win of the season which puts him one back of Scottie Scheffler for most wins on tour this season and tied with Sam Burns.
We are staying across the pond a little longer for the last and final major of the season. This week we are headed to Mecca of golf, the Old Course at St. Andrews for the 150th playing of The Open Championship.

What Course Is The Open Championship Held At?
There is likely no better course to host the 150th playing of the oldest tournament in golf, The Open Championship, than golf’s oldest course — the Old Course at St. Andrews.
The Old Course is widely renowned as golf’s spiritual home with golf being played there as long ago as 1552. The course will play 7,297 yards and a par 72 — of the 14 courses to have previously hosted The Open, Old Course tends to be the easiest with the last four winners to play here averaging -14 to par.

The fairways are wide and driving accuracy will take a back seat this weekend. But it will help to know where best to land your shots, with 112 bunkers on the course and blind approach shots guarded by additional hazards.
Weather can always play a factor at the Old Course with a potential for high winds and rain at any time, but outside of a slight chance of morning showers Friday, this week will be perfect conditions for great golf.
