The Philadelphia Eagles held an open practice Sunday, August 7, that was open to the fans. The fans were delighted to see that newly-aquired wide receiver A.J. Brown put on an absolute show on this hot Sunday practice.

Brown, who came over from the Tennessee Titans via trade during the first round of the NFL draft back in April, comes to Philly with a ton of eyes on him. Brown spent three years in Tennessee, racking up numerous accolades in a short period of time.

He was a Pro-Bowler in 2020, made the All-Rookie team in 2019, and accumulated 185 receptions for 2,995 yards and 26 touchdowns in those three seasons.

The Eagles have been starved for receiving talent for what seems like a decade, so there was much excitement from the Philly faithful once the trade went down.

Brown, coupled with second-year receiver DeVonta Smith and stud tight end Dallas Goedert, gives the Eagles a trio of weapons more talented than the year they won the Super Bowl back in 2017.

But, for this Sunday practice at the Linc, Smith was sidelined with a groin injury so it was Brown who stirred the fans into a frenzy — in a good way!

He dazzled the crowd with a deep touchdown catch between two defenders in what was the highlight of a big day for Brown.

Of course, it is still to be determined how well this Eagles passing offense will fare in the regular season with Jalen Hurts at the helm, but for one day Eagles fans were left imagining possibly another parade down Broad Street thanks to A.J. Brown.
